In Season 4, Doris gets a new boss, Cy Bennett (John Dehner) at Today‘s World magazine and a new co-worker, administrative assistant Jackie Parker (Jackie Joseph). Peter Lawford also joins the cast as Doris‘ new boyfriend, Dr. Peter Lawrence.
Among the guest stars featured are Bob Crane, Alan Hale, Charles Nelson Reilly, Van Johnson, Barbara Hale, Rory Calhoun, Werner Klemperer and Bernie Koppell.
