Focusing on the misadventures of confirmed bachelor Bill Davis, played by Brian Keith (The Parent Trap, Hardcastle & McCormick), who suddenly finds himself the guardian of his brother‘s orphaned young twins named Buffy and Jody (Anissa Jones and Johnny Whitaker) and older sister Cissy (Kathy Garver).
