Eighteen years after his unexplained departure, Cornelius Rawlings (writer and director Michael Tully) returns to his family‘s Tennessee farm to find his parents dead, but little else different. His brother Amos (Onur Tukel) works on grotesque expressionist paintings about football, while repressed neat- and Jesus-freak Ezra (Robert Longstreet, The Oregonian) tends to housekeeping religiously. Cornelius, an unlikely athletic savant, hustles high schoolers in town to support his huffing habit. When a toilet overflows and a familiar-looking plumber appears with his very beautiful, very young wife, the mystery of why Cornelius left starts to unravel. Blackly comic, touchingly human, visually striking, genuinely unsettling - this genre-bending, tonally unique film is unlike anything you‘ve ever seen before.
